Our Harbour cam is currently viewing the outer harbour, looking from the Harbour Master's Office across to the cove to the Weymouth side of the River Wey. From this camera you get an excellent view of the Georgian harbour (circa 1805). The harbour is still a commercial port with a regular ferry to the Channel Islands. Among the many industries supported by the harbour are boating excursions for fishing, diving, or just a day cruise to view the magnificent Jurassic coast. Weymouth harbour is also a popular place for visiting sailors. |
